FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions...

  1. How does SeaAllure work?
The Silon® patch material hydrates the skin by reducing normal surface evaporation (occlusion).  The Silon also holds and delivers hydrophilic (water-loving) nutritional molecules to the skin.  These agents effectively hold moisture in the skin even after the patch is removed.  Increased hydration tightens and firms the skin thereby reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
  2. What makes SeaAllure better?
The combination effect of the skin tightening agent and occlusion are unique to SeaAllure.  We also believe the increased hydration provided by occlusion enhances the penetration of the hydrophilic molecules into the skin, thereby providing a greater effect than simply applying the agent directly to the skin.  The patented Silon technology provides a comfortable and easy to use patch that stays on overnight yet is easily removed in the morning.
  3. Will SeaAllure help dark circles or baggy eyes?
No. SeaAllure won't do anything for dark circles and may make baggy eyes worse due to increased hydration. Place SeaAllure over the wrinkles and not over baggy areas. Remember, they can be trimmed if needed.
  4. What are the ingredients of SeaAllure?
SeaAllure is made of Silon siloxane-based composite with fabric backing infused with: Polymannuronates - A hydrophilic polysaccharide extracted from Macrocystis pyrifera (giant bladder kelp seaweed) and Prolamines - Hydrolyzed wheat proteins rich in glutamine/glutamic acid.
  5. How many patches come in one package?
There are 20 pairs of left/right cut shapes. This is enough for a one-month treatment around the eyes or mouth, or two weeks if used for both areas at once.  Use SeaAllure every night for 2 weeks to achieve the effect, then 3 times a week for 2 weeks to maintain it.  After that the 20 treatment pack can be used for maintenance and touchups as needed and should last considerably longer than a month.
  6. What are the benefits of using a patch?
Unlike the injections or dermal fillers, SeaAllure is non-invasive. There is virtually no risk of complications and the treatment is painless.
  7. What if I am already using injections or dermal fillers?
SeaAllure is not known to interact with invasive wrinkle treatments such as injections or dermal fillers.
  8. Is SeaAllure safe to use? Are there any side effects?
SeaAllure is safe. There are no known side effects or risks.
  9. Is SeaAllure effective on all skin types and colors?
Yes. Although results will vary from person to person, there are no known differences relating to skin type or color.
  10. Is SeaAllure FDA approved?
No. SeaAllure is a cosmetic. The FDA does not approve cosmetics. However, SeaAllure is manufactured in an FDA registered facility because Bio Med Sciences, being in the medical device industry for 20 years, is FDA regulated.
  11. How quickly will I see results?
Users often see results from within a few days up to about 2 weeks.
  12. How long will the results last?
Results will last for several days to a week or so after usage stops. Use this product nightly for 2 weeks then every few days to maintain the effect.
  13. Can I use SeaAllure with any other anti-aging creams/lotions?
Yes, but be sure that SeaAllure is applied to clean dry skin. Patches don't stick well with lotions and oils.
  14. Do I have to use a moisturizer with SeaAllure?
No. SeaAllure is an effective moisturizer.
  15. What causes wrinkles?
Chronic sun exposure results in cutaneous dryness, skin laxity, atrophy, fine wrinkles and dyspigmentation. Invariably, this weathering accelerates wrinkles and serves as a background for the development of cutaneous malignancies. In other words, sun exposure and normal aging cause wrinkles.
  16. Is SeaAllure tested on animals?
No, animals don't seem to mind wrinkles, so we tested it on people!
